Synopsis of Meeting Held
Saturday, April 5, 2008, 9:05 am

The meeting was called to order by President Santangelo at the home of Joan Rust.  A quorum was established with the following present:  Vicki Atkins, Susan Gonzales, Sandra Lynch, Mark McQuiller, Joan Rust and Joseph Santangelo.

The legal opinion obtained from Daughtry & Jordan, PC pertaining to three story construction in Isla del Sol was reviewed and discussed.  It is noted that Legal Opinion sought from counsel is privileged communication.  All questions regarding this issue should be directed to Susan Gonzales at CKM Property Management.

Annual Meeting and Election of Directors will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2008, 10 am until noon at the Sea Isle Fire Station.  Jeannie Finstad will represent CKM at the meeting.

Sandra Lynch, Joan Rust and Joseph Santangelo will finish their term and vacate the Board.  Mark McQuiller will appear on the ballot as the Proxy Agent.  He will also seek confirmation from potential names to appear on the ballot and nominations will be taken from the floor.

The Spring Fling social will follow the Annual Meeting with lunch served around 1 pm.  This will take place in the boat launch area near 22410 Isle View.  The planning committee is Jeanie Tamborello, Kathy Hood, Mary Ann McQuiller and Sandra Lynch.  The number attending has been slow to come in – isla-rsvp@comcast.net .  Flyers will be hand delivered to all households.

A Neighborhood Yard Sale will take place on Saturday, May 10, from 8 am until noon in the parking lot to the left of the main entrance.   Contact Joan Rust for information.

A Conflict of Interest Policy was established by the Board.  Every member present reviewed and signed.  All Directors will be required to sign yearly.

Susan Gonzales suggested that the three outgoing Directors attend the first meeting of the new Board to help with the transition. 

With no further business, the meeting adjourned at 10:40 am.
