Welcome to Isla Del Sol

We are a small community located on the west end of Galveston. Our community consists of both full and part-time residents of all ages. It is a quiet neighborhood with people who enjoy fishing, boating, and the beach.

Isla Del Sol is comprised of canal lots and lots with views of the wetlands, the beach and/or the bay. Homeowners take pride in their community and work to keep our neighborhood safe and attractive.

Flag Etiquette
Posted on Aug 31st, 2023

This is the holiday when we see our country and state flags flying.  It reflects the patriotism in our neighborhood to see so many flags on the canal and on the street.  Did you know there is a “right” way to post/hang your flags? Check the link below if you’re not sure.

Galveston has a new hotline for help with issues relating to short-term rentals. (409) 247-8160 is the number you need to call regarding issues with trash, too many cars, too many people, loud music, parties, or any other problem.

The Galveston Park Board has mandated that each STR have a "one-hour contact" or a person that can respond to complaints within one hour. https://www.galvestonparkboard.org

Trash cans should not be left out after pick-up, nor should they be stored in front of the fence or house. Store under your house, behind front building line. If your schedule does not allow you to be here to take in your trashcans after pick-up (usually on Mondays), there are options for you.
